JAPAN..Here I Come!!!!

sorry for the late post..cos i was SUPER tired after all the parties...
but hey...another party awaitin me..in JAPAN..woohoo!!!!
COUNTDOWN PARTY...yup yup..Princess & myself will b in Japan for the New Year!!!
a little slight hidcup though...
wanted to enjoy dinner wif some Japanese Cultural performance but since its the New Year week...the performers decided to give themselves a break too :(
our other alternative is oso screwed!!! was thinkin of enjoyin ourselves in some hot spring theme park...but F@#K!!! All persons wif tattoos are asked not to enter the theme park...in fact...if u have a tattoo...u can forget bout entering any hot spring or bath houses!!!
the thing these owners dun knoe is...I M JAPAN MAFIA FRIENDLY!!!!
wat the heck...we should still b able to party like mad i Japan..without the cultural shit & hot spring...
so peeps!! wait for my return ya!!!

Wat beats one BIG happy family on a weekend outing to the Singapore Flyer?? used to think tat family is only secondary...cos they will always b stuck wif u no matter wat happens...humans i guess...but since 2 years back...my family is everything to me!!! really thnk GOD for giving me this really warm family!!!

3. Baby brother is discharged and is well enuf to join our family outing..woohoo!!!! we were all worried sick for him 2 weeks back...our precious little brother..so glad to see him today...

so..now for the story...

as usual..myself, Princess, Daddy & Grandma arrived at the Singapore Flyer 2 hours before flight time...decided to pamper Daddy & Grandma to Kenko Reflexology!! See how Grandma is enjoying herself wif FISH SPA...

I Didnt Go Missing...

must b wondering wat the hell i've been up to?? well...i'm super enjoying my break...cos i am clearing my block leave...jus nuah at home..of cos not!!! something tat i haven informed u peeps...my dearest brother was admitted to TTSH 2 weeks ago...havin on-and-off fever for a couple of weeks...after several days of various blood tests..doc confirmed tat he has bacteria in his blood...he was put on drip (to inject the medication into his blood stream) for the following 2 weeks...so FINALLY...he got discharged on Tue...after all our mad runnings up and down the hospital...after heavy persuasion & naggings from my brother...the doc reliated to a compromise...they did an insertion for him (minor surgery to insert a tube into his blood vessel)..he had to report daily for his drip for the next 3 weeks...ouch!!!! well...beats couping himself in ward wif 5 others...guess my brother did a pretty good job PRing wif all the uncles...or maybe cos he's too bored..other thn his laptop..Des's PSP...going down for his casual strolls plus smoke breaks...and our company...tats practically nothing else to entertain him...i m really so glad to see him at home..was really worried sick when Daddy broke the news of his hospitalisation to me...

admist all the runnings to-and-fro TTSH...and the smashing X'mas party last week..yes...the one tat got me partying till 3am before heading for supper wif Nick, Junie & Princess...did manage to catch my sleep at 4am though..haha!!! anywayz...did a couple of errands these few days...and today...simply shiok!!!

went to Sentosa wif Kor at 10am, supposedly to play beach volley..ended spending a whole morning wif Sam...sat at coffee bean to catch up on each others' lives...did some raccee round Sentosa Cove...man!! the houses r incredible!! thn its back to reality...so we jus chilled out at Club Islander..had beer and all...before Kor and I fulfilled what we were there for in the 1st place...beach volley...time check: 1.35pm...the rest of the programme (laid on the beach for some tan...beach volley...head for the showers) all happened within 2 hours...thn we left Sentosa for Marina Square...where we were supposed to meet Sam & Dage at 6 plus?? dun think i need to explain how we tried to kill time...SHOPPING & slacking at Pacific Coffee...got ourselves a pair of REEF slippers each...jus to satisfy my ever-ridi philosphy of not heading home empty handed :)

time was clickin really slowly.. went by like there was a thousand seconds in a minute...didnt really bother me tat much though...cos half the time i positioned myself so comfortably in the sofa..i could hardly hear my own snore...haha!! AT LAST!!! Dage, dasao & Baby Keene joined us..followed by silly Sam as he made his appearance by sticking his dumbass face on some glass panel of Pacific Coffee...heck!!! we were really happy for him!!! the long wait & pain he was going thru since last November is finally over!!! sorry peeps...once again...its not exactly an ethical thing to disclose my brother's inner most secrets...this calls for a celebration!!! well..not exactly the kind of celebration u would expect...we had our dinner at the food court of Marina Square...simple but a very heart-warming one!!! i mean...how often do u gather wif ur best pals in life for dinner admist their busy balance of work and family?? wanted to continue the night wif a game of bowling...cos Sam's new gf (E____, not sure if i can disclose this though) had some company bowling competition going on...unfortunately for us...they booked the whole bowling alley!!! didn't have a Plan B as usual...so we just took a 1 minute walk over to the acarde...decided to play pool instead...let's see...when was the last time i was holding on to a cue? hmmm...i wonder...probably long enuf tat i couldn recall...so anywayz...we really had a great time...lots of stupid jokes...lots of silly "moves" on the pool table...pity tat everything seemed so short...Dage had to bring Baby Keene to see a doc...hopefully Baby Keene will recover quickly from the mosquito bite (trust me...doesnt look at all like an ordinary bite) on his leg...the rest of us decided for go for a drink at HongKong Cafe...ok ok...apart from the 2 french toast me and Sam ordered...

so tats bout it actually...time for me to go to bed...well...weekends is jus hours away...hang on peeps!!! have a great weekend ahead!!! i m pretty sure mine's gonna b another record!!!

What's on the other side?

returned bout a week ago from the scandinavian part of the world...took us 8 days to travel from Copenhagen to Helsinki and our last stop..Stockholm...hmmm...lets see...wats the best way to describe this trip to u peeps...its unbelievably cold...think it was -4 degrees..but wif the winds blowing at us...we were made to believe tat its the Antartic...

Arrived at Copenhagen airport on 23 November 2008..after a gruelling 11 hours flight from Bangkok where we spent 3 hours in transit...time check: 6 plus in the morning..had to take the subway to a station close enuf to our hotel...Christenhaven station...yup!! short 15 minutes ride from the airport..got outta the station and onto the streets...freezing cold...the first living being roaming the streets on a Sunday at 6 plus am offered me his nearly finished wheat..OMG!!! wad a way to welcome guests to ur country! forget bout the walk to the hotel..princess and i jus hopped onto a cab...round the corner after 5 mins drive..wala!! we reached our hotel..did all the necessary check-in...had our nice warm breakfast at the cafe in the hotel..thn took our slow walk to the city..

spent a quiet morning strolling the streets...sat at some nice cafe to hide from the cold once in a while...and we were on a canal tour...

spent 2 days in Copenhagen...went out into the countryside...experience a little snow while we were ther...but the heavy snow pour came when we were back in the city...

had 2 take a morning flight to Helsinki for yet another exciting journey...trust me...wasn't exactly how we thought it would b...

the whole city was covered with snow!!! view was absolutely gorgeous!!! unfortunate for us...we only had a couple of hours to enjoy this great view before rushing for a flight to Stockholm in the evening...and becos of my poor misjudge..we had a little too much time at the airport...cos we were there like some 3 odd hours before our flight..haha!!

FINALLY...we were in Stockholm!!!!

hotel we were put up...was minutes away from the shopping malls and office...great!!! apart from somewhat similar arthitecture...the city of Stockholm was bused wif traffic and people...quite different from Copenhagen..

and we have Old Stockholm...an old town....

this is where we bought most of ur souveniers...after spending our last 4 days in Stockholm...combed almost every street...been into almost every shop...princess and i were quite smashed!!! time to call it a day for our Scandinavian trip...really great experience...great getaway!!!

Time to return to our sunny island!!!!
