Mini Durian Party

woke up really early yesterday...bout 10am...haha...i know its prob normal for u peeps...1pm is wats normal for me can?? had to run some errands..

1. went to Sengkang post office to collect some registered mail. apparently is from the Singapore Police Force...ARRGH!!!! reservist IPPT & shoot...dreads man!!! moreover its immed after i return from Stockholm...no time for training :( anywayz...like as if i bother to train..wahaha!!

2. had to go to the Sengkang NPC to change my address...bumps!! their freaking printer is out of order...ie. i had to go to another NPC to get it done...drove all the way to Hougang...CLOSED??? cos they had some "day away"...this SUX!!! decided to give up...

3. headed to the nearest POSB bank to deposit my cheque...

4. went to Waterloo Street to pray for my trip next week...u know...thn had my fav laksa & wanton noodles for lunch

5. was at Tampines by 1 plus to get myself a new pair of specs...not tat i m sick of my PRADA...but since its all part of my employment package...might as well get myself an ARMANI too...haha!!!!

6. got some groceries from NTUC

did so much in the morning..i was totally smashed...headed home for a nap before i continue with my presentation slides..was suppose to meet Nick Boy, Karen and Devin for dinner...but the other 2 had other plans...so i m left wif Nick...went to pick him from his workplace...headed to Serangoon Gardens for dinner...great dinner...satay...hokkien mee...BBQ chicken wings..and as we were heading towards the carpark...Nick Boy bought 2 durians...thnk GOD its only 2 cos we freakin full...

back home...we had sort of a small durian party...no alcohol of cos...we were drowning ourselves wif H2O cos we felt the heaty effects almost instantly...

who said anything bout not havin fun even if its jus the 3 of us..check this out...

and i was improving my "not so bad" photography skills..

hope the neighbours r not complaining cos we cracked ourselves up really loud from watchin stupid videos from YouTube...Star wars in Hokkien...James Bond in Hokkien...some stupid raper from Mapo "Muar Chinese"...some freak disturbing Ah Neh (means Indian) working in a prata shop...and the ultimate video tat sent me and Nick to our knees...some auntie scolding vulgarities (not in Hokkien...not cantonese either...in English..."FUCK U!!!"....man...super damn POWER funny!!!! wat great fun...and we finally realise it was time to call it a night cos it was freaking 2am!!!!

must do this again!!! but wif the rest!!! think we will get another letter from Town Council...haha!!!

A Reunion

feeling the blues now..must b the accumulated lack of proper rest..BUT i m feeling really great!! last evening princess and i had 2 guests over at our place...2 really important guests...should have been the first persons to see our place..due to unforseen circumstances..it didnt take place a year ago..after some period of struggle..we finally see the rainbow after the rain..so anywayz...as usual Baby K & Xin did their usual routine of being late...kinda improved slightly though..only an hour late..but it was all compensated when he presented me wif an i-pod with sound system &...a new Ed-Hardy cap to my collection..thnks Baby!!!

showed 'em round my place...the countless "wows" from them again made me wonder if i m in the right line of work..not sure if i will get an answer to this question...but it definately feels damn good whn u hear compliments bout ur house :) jus like how i used to tell other newly weds or about to b newly weds..who r vexed on designing their new place.."its a personal feel...remember tat its ur place..ur love nest...no matter wat ideas/designs u throw in...its a combination of ur love efforts and sense of home" well at least tats how we got our inspiration...how princess and i did up our love nest...

after the tour...after looking through our pre-wedding photo album...we had a simple dinner of canned soup and special delivery pizzas...ok ok...i know its not like a superb dinner..will whip up something good for the both of u when we return from Stockholm ya...hopefully things take a better turn for the both of u by then..i know i have said these many times before..jus need to repeat again..

there's always a reason y things happen...i prefer to see it as a good cause...for us to self-reflect on ourselves...to effect a change tat would make us better persons in life..sometimes its better for things to happen now thn later...at least there's still a chance to make amendments...all humans err...no one is perfect! wats most important is for us to realise tat we have done something wrong and move on in life not committing the same mistake again..jus part of the growing up process in life...y bother to point fingers at each other...y bother to look back at the bad past...LET IT GO!!!

marriage is a lifetime of committment..a lifetime of giving each other unconditional love...a lifetime of compromises & adjusting to each other's lifestyle..a lifetime of forgiveness and condoning each other's mistakes..a lifetime of patience and trust for each other...blah blah...everyone has to make some decisions everyday..some not so important..some life-and-death..how big or how small is not important...the important thing is...have u made a decision tat u will not regret in time to come? if u ever doubt ur decision even the slightest...thn maybe u r not making the right one afterall...once u have made ur choice...live wif it and dun regret!!!

we had a good long talk last nite...its not bout the time spent...i m more concerned whether the time is well spent...remember..at the end of the day...no one can decide for u...u have to make ur own decisions...do wat's best for u...wat's right for u...

i m back peeps!!! after a long tired weekend...hard to explain wat i did over the weekends...i can only say it was totally unexpected..but yet very close to the heart!!! trying to guess wad i did?? hehe..not telling u...

tomolo is Nick boy's bday!!! so we (me, Princess, Karen & cousin Devin) decided to give him a surprise bday celebration...well...not exactly a surprise since we arranged to meet up at Millenia Walk...Outback Restaurant..but the cutting of cake session was definately a HUGE SURPRISE when the staff of Outback appeared from outta nowhere...started singing their very own version of a birthday song...boy's reaction super funny...damn blushed man!!! hope u liked it!!!

Post Wedding Emo

guess no words can describe how i'm feeling right now...but i still wan to write dis blog...

Princess and i collected our wedding DVD from Ken, our videographer today...we headed to AMK Hospital to celebrate Grandma's Bday before going back to Mum's place...Mummy is havin dis big pimple on her nose...jus like the one i have on my forehead...cos we ate durians few days back..now we r suffering from the fruits of hard labour!!! haha...

anywayz...Mummy was as excited as we were wif our wedding DVD...waited for more thn a mth man...but no worries Ken..we knoe u r beri tied up...so we were all nicely sitted in and recapturing the moment of our lives...

brought back many many great memories of our wedding...some of the events we forgot it even happened...prob too tired & excited tat day...didnt quite remember wat was said and done...but the DVD was definately a good reminder!!! as we watched on...my emo started to slip in...i'm so touched by everything tat went on tat day...every single moment...from the time we gate crash..to the time we said our goodbye to all our guests...all the blessings we received...all the sentimental advice from our Brothers and Sisters...lookin at all the laughter tat was filling up the whole ballroom...i can only say tat i feel like i m the luckiest and most fortunate person of this century!!!

i knoe i said this at my Thank You speech...but i jus to say it again...

Thank you all for making it all so possible for us...ur presence during our dinner really touched our hearts and it meant so much so much to the both of us!!!

To my Brothers (Kor Kor Robin, My Twin Sam, Dage Jason, Hunn Danny & Marvin Boy) thank u all for helping me out...really sorry tat some of u "suffered" from stomach upset...but i knoe u all will do anything for me...tats y i said i m so lucky to have Brothers like u...i will listen to the advice u have all given me...Brothers for LIFE!!!

Lastly...i still wan to thank my lovely...forever blur blur wife (but i must clarify tat Princess is never blur when it comes to my stuff)...my Princess! Thank u for going through so much wif me over the past few years...i m confident tat u will continue to move into the future wif me...always supporting me...always showering me wif all the love...care & concern...always putting me as ur no. 1...i knoe i didnt make a wrong decision!!! hmmm...thnk u for the Ling Yang tat u made wif ur heart becos u knoe i dun like ginseng...luv u lots lots lots...muacks muacks!!!

PSP vs Mahjong

whilst waitin for my silly sister to get ready before we head for dinner and visit Grandma at Ang Mo Kio Hospital...let me give u peeps some updates on my Saturday day out...

woke up bout 1 plus...wanted to do some household chores when Daddy called...Daddy & Mummy heading to Rivervale Mall to buy some groceries & his fav 4D...Princess & i decided to take 'em out...shall leave the household chores to tomolo...so picked them up...thn we headed to Orchard cos we wanted to pick up the CD for our wedding photos from Ritz...stopped over at Killiney Road where we had a great Indonesian lunch...y great?? cos the food is absolutely tasty...and most imp...not so x-pensive...Daddy loved it!!!! now tat we got our stomachs filled...and picked up the CD along the way...we headed to PwC Building cos our dear Princess AGAIN forgot her wallet...left it at the office on Friday...always blur blur...thn we went to Ang Mo Kio Thye Hua Kwan Hospital to visit Grandma...

She is fast recovering...very determined to get back on her feet again...she is exercising very minute...hopefully to gain her strength to move her right limbs...it was quite a warm afternoon..so we decided to take Grandma for a stroll downstairs...in a wheelchair of cos...would love to take some pics of Grandma but i'm pretty sure she will not allow us to do tat...cos jus like me...Grandma oso very vain one...hahaha!!!! nevertheless, i still took a pic...of myself...haha!!!

Princess and i were "explorin" round the vicinity when we chance upon this vending machine...selling japanese milk tea, latte & expresso...hot drinks...so as usual...we decide to post this....the drink is not all tat fantastic...normal...very normal in fact...but jus the tot of having hot can drinks from the vending machine sounds super cool to me...haha!!

took Grandma round the hospital...lookin for some nice cooling spots cos the weather was pretty warm and humid...manage to find a nice cafetaria wif air-con...OMG!!! and wif sofas and coffee tables...damn POWER!!!! now tat Grandma is all nice & cool...she can take her dinner...which reminds me...i have a dinner appointment wif cous Devin & Carmen....after sendin Daddy & Mummy home...Princess & i took the car for a wash...trust me...its really time for one!!!!

we were at cous place for 2 reasons...PSP & Mahjong!!!! ordered some pizzas, caeser's salad, and Carmen oso made some teriyaki chicken wings....whilst waiting for dinner...me & Devin decided to play wif ROCK BAND...some PSP game...not easy really but we had great fun!!!

Dinner time!!! yum yum...wif red wine to go along...followed by dessert wine (mango flavoured)..wat else can one ask for...

no time wasted...we set up the mahjong table...and we started our "battle of the couple"..wahaha!!! no lah...jus had some really great fun at the mahjong table...entertained by cous Devin's singing and silly mahjong skills...damn funny!!! very much wanted to continue after the 1st round which took bout 2 hrs plus to complete...but on seeing tat Dev is left wif no more chips..and its bout 1 plus oredi...we decide to call it a nite...think u can figure out who lost!!! haha!! :)

well..had a great sat evening!!! came to a conclusion...think i did better on the GAMBLING thn GAMING...how bout u peeps? had a great weekend too??
