i have never seen so many 鸡 Pie in my life!!! the whole pantry was flooded 鸡 Pie, all nicely boxed up...and of cos with the assistance of the tea lady...we managed to slice them up evenly and distributed them to everyone in the office...one 鸡 Pie per person...this is prob the last treat from Wei Jan...cos today is his last day!!! so sad :(

have been really busy wif wedding preparations..."forced" to take mc today cos i was having a super bad headache...doc said i was havin low blood pressure...tend to feel giddy...jus need alot of rest...did jus the opposite...did my errans for the whole day...altered my trousers & had a new pair tailored...collected my shirt (overdue for collection 3 weeks ago)...went home to wait for delivery of my wedding photo (worth waiting!!)...went to compasspoint 2 get a massager from Miny Toons for Daddy...went to Jie's house to pass her the wedding invi...headed home to put up the wedding photo...met Nick for dinner at P.S. Cafe (off Dempsey Road)...

took awhile before we found each other...Nick kinda not very familiar wif the restaurants at Dempsey...in his berms & sneakers...man!! felt so much like school days...our day out casual dress code...i was a little more casual...got my berms on as well...and my fav pair of REEF slippers...hahaha!!! Time is Running OUT

Oops..almost forgot to update u peeps on my latest craze...think its been quite a while (few months) since i bought my last watch...my Vagary limited edition gold watch (LV lookalike)...will take some pics of it and post next time round ya...so to add on to my collection of fanci watches...went on a shopping spree wif Daddy, Mummy & Princess yesterday...ok ok...i m saving hard ya...the watch is free!!! not my bday gift...but for the tea ceremony...a gift from my mother-in-law (but charged to Princess)...hahaha!! thanks dearie!!! i love the watch!!!

jus in case u peeps do not knoe...i dun go for branded watches...tag heuer, bretling...not my cup of tea...its usually the design of the watch tat will catch my eye...irregardless of the brand...becos i've only a small collection of watches (4 pieces only)...its important i make really careful decisions in selecting one...u see...i m not all tat spendrift afterall...*puke*

so anywayz...i got my gift...its from Marc Ecko (concidentally its branded)...i was comtemplating between this watch and one from Kenneth Cole...but eventually its the blink blink on this watch tat won me over...squarish design, white monogram face with blinks all round the edges, stainless steel strap, very heavy...i will let the pictures do the talking...

this is it...my new Marc Ecko watch...damn super cool!!! but i can only wear it after my wedding :( so looking forward to put it on...meanwhile...Mummy oso suggested she wanted to get me a new watch too...well at least tats the impression i got yesterday when she said..."u like? if u wan it..Mummy buy for u"...woohoo!!! can get another watch!! talk bout right timing...hahaha!!

My 30th Birthday!!!

i believe most of u would agree wif me...as u grow older...bdays dun mean alot anymore...jus a simple dinner wif family & frens...jus another day of ur life...unlike the BIG celebrations we had when we were much younger...

today...went to Straits Kitchen (ya i know i jus went ther yesterday for my colleague's farewell dinner) to celebrate my 30th bday!!! not a big celebration...jus a simple dinner wif my family...wat turns out to be the greatest day!!! wat really made this day so special...loads of reasons i guess...maybe its becos this is the bday before my wedding...also my 1st bday as i step into the 30s range...also the bday tat i m still celebrating wif my baby sis since she got married last yr...watever the reason is...jus felt really great...ended capturing endless shots of this bday dinner wif my family...

so u see...i really had a SUPER great bday....thnx Princess for this day...making all the arrangements...Love u lots...muacks muacks!!!

Farewell Dinner

Woohoo!!! Straits kitchen called up earlier this afternoon...secured our reservation for 10 pax today...which means i have to cancel my reservations with Ritz Carlton..many apologies...so 8 of us set off to Hyatt after work...survived all the squeezing and bumping in the MRT...we finally got to our destination...they reserved this really long table for us (meant for 13 pax)...filled the rest of the empty seats wif our bags...off we went to get our food...

I can finally see COLOURS !!

almost forgot how it felt like initially when i first embarked on this "adventure"...let me see...hmmm...recall somewhere in May 2008...i think...not so sure...i was exploding wif excitment...can't wait for 2 mths to be over...so i can complete my "adventure"...well..at least tat's wat he said to me...thn i waited and waited...anticipation faded...

its been almost three1/2 months now...today...i finally see light...finally get to see the COLOURS of my tattoo...after 6 very "painful" sessions of waiting...can't even remember whn was the last time i blogged bout my tat...well u see...cos my tattooist, Derrick is not full-time...he does it as a form of hobby i guess...but i really admire his talent...tats y i insisted on gettin him to ink for me...even if it means waiting...jus didn't expect the whole process to drag this long...guess wat peeps...its still not complete...but one consolation...its already 85% done...woohoo!!!!

if nothing goes wrong AGAIN...my tattoo will be done by early August...keeping my fingers crossed :) so anywayz...managed to capture 2 shots of Derrick's 85% work...despite my immobility cos jus ended my 6th session like 1/2 hour ago...still bleeding...hahaha...

so how peeps? nice? better say its nice cos i spent a bomb on this...and imagine the amount of blood drained out of me for this "major project"...i jus think its super awesome man...by the way...its all free hand...meaning its one and only...tats becos every detail tat is inked on me is done thru Derrick's inspiration...according to the contours of my hand and chest...cool right?? :0

jus had lunch wif Bengz, Chin Yong & Princess...vietnamese restaurant along China Square Central...not too bad...jus very ex...S$2 for one fried vietnamese spring roll...Hmmm...but heck...its been some time now since my last lunch wif the boyz...after lunch...decided to ta-pau YaKun coffee to Bengz new toy...his Mazda RX8 Type E...Wow!!! though i have seen and sat in his bro's RX8 before...somewhat the feeling is different when i was nicely sitted in the front seat...the design is damn slick...gloss black in colour...wif red leather seats...my fav colour combi...super POWER sia!!!

by the way haven intro my buddies to u peeps...know Bengz and Chin Yong fm PwC days...my regular lunch / karaoke / full of nonsence kakis...slept wif one in Ritz Carlton for 2 nights and f--- with the other...jus wat were u thinking?? i meant shared the room wif Chin Yong for our staff trip and fish with Bengz...guess we can click so well becos the 3 of us graduated from the Freaky Cove (a.k.a. OMG! he was going thru the touch screen menu like as if he owned the car for a year oredi...must give it to him...Bro...u r there man !!! honestly...his sound system alone is oredi very impressive...i cannot imagine if we took a spin...for a moment...i was really so tempted to change my car too!! but let's get back to reality...i have a wedding in Sep 2008...shall postpone this silly idea...
