Close to Death

Ever imagined tat a Toyota Corolla Altis can corner with speed of 160...no breaks...i did tat once...a year back when i was playing wif some of frens on the roads...their balls shrank when they saw me doing tat...didnt feel anything back thn though....maybe becos i wanted so much to win...

yesterday...i did it again!!! only this time the speed was a little slower at 130 and picked up to 160 as we hit the straight roads....i was wif my parents last evening....at Far East getting my pair of white shoes for the wedding...was havin dinner when mummy asked daddy whether he got everything ready for prayers tomolo...his reply..."Nope..."....it was 8.45pm...15 mins to rush to RiverMall from Orchard before the shops close...wif the CTE jam and heavy traffic flow...it was near impossible to do it....but i did it!! i was driving like a "raged bull" swerve from left to right...in and out of traffic...

I was jus comin out of the tunnel before TPE...when i was acclerating like mad....wif "Overdrive"....next to me was this mother f@#kin Honda...thought i wanted to race wif him...started picking up his speed as well....imagine 2 cars squeezing to filter out into TPE...at top speed...it was jus cm away before he hit me....tats when he pulled back...wad a bloody asshole!!! i mean...i didnt flash my headlights...i didnt blow at u....wad the f@#k made u think i wanted to race!!! r u like some f@#kin greenhorn on the roads??? if i wasnt rushin for time....i would have jammed my car in front of his...get out of my car...and punch the living hell outta him....

A year back when i did tat crazy stunt...i was alone...didnt feel anything....yesterday when i was so close to a very serious accident...possibily leading to death....i was shivering....becos my parents were wif me....looking at their frightened expressions...hearing mummy's trembling voice...i promised myself never to do this again!

Shopping Spree...Oops!!

woohoo! i m back peeps...super busy last week and yesterday...no time 2 blog...so got lots of updates...alot happended over the weekends...

my buddy since primary one...Aussie Bum Kenneth came back to Spore for 3 weeks wif his GF...met up wif him for dinner...last min thingy cos his GF went for pedicure wif her mum...so he has time for me....finally...updated each other on our lives...come to think of it...haven met him for a long long time...wah...he still as yan dao as before...first qns he asked him when he got into my car..."my hair nice not? jus cut leh?" ...see wad vanity can do to one...haha....didnt stay out late though cos i was super tired...and he had some other appoint wif frens...
haven had enuf of him...so we met up AGAIN on sunday....only diff...we were not alone....i brought princess along...he brought his GF along....we gathered at Desmond's new place...very nice place...semi-D....in Serangoon area....brought back many childhood memories...cos our Primary School was jus within the vicinity....Serangoon was our playground man...Des suggested havin steamboat for dinner...i turned down his suggestion...cos i jus had steamboat the night before...got pizzas and pastas instead....from spizza....yum yum!!!! its been ages since the 3 musketeers met up...so it was great night...meetin our other halves...updatin each other....cheeky Kenneth as usual crackin jokes...laughin our heads off....definately one hell of a reunion!!! :p

very sinful weekend....cos me and princess spent super alot of $$$$$....went shoppin on Friday...bought 2 belts from GUESS and TED BAKER....bought a pair of shoes from PEDRO...princess bought 2 pairs of heels from GUESS and ALDO....2 massage sticks from MINI TOONS (one for daddy one for princess)...total damage on friday: S$600 (+/-)....saturday was a total nightmare!!!! met up wif Elaine from our bridal shop at Arab Street in the morning to shop for fabric for princess's evening gown....thn we headed to Waterloo Street to pray....since it was still early...suppose to meet my family in the evening for dinner...celebratin mummy's bday....we went to FRIVEN...cos they havin up to 70% discount...me and princess went CRAZY again!!!! started off wif bedsheets...thn went on to vases...thn candles....towels....and the list jus went on and on and on....until our bill hit S$1,300!!!! OMG! me and princess decided to chuck everything in the boot and swear tat we will never let mummy know bout this....before we get endless naggings AGAIN!!!!

think this is it...well think again....we left for Millenia Walk... was suppose to meet them for dinner at Mushroom Pot....but we were still very early...so we headed to Marina Square....BIG mistake!!! stepped into this shop sellin very beautiful "victorian" display pieces...bought a clock...and a triangel (very interesting doll...there's only one per design....no duplicates in the world) for princess....thn we came across this shop...having 70% discount storewide!!! bought 2 more hats...by the time we are done wif shopping...my boot was all filled up wif shopping bags! and it was jus in time for dinner...haha...dinner at Mushroom Pot was fantastic!!! very good variety....excellent service (cos they gave mummy a Bday gift!!)....tasty food...my family enjoyed it alot....especially grandma...she got hold of their namecard...wanted to "show off" to her frens...so funny! it was still early after dinner...so Jaina suggested we head down to Dempsy Road for drinks....so off we went...went to PS Cafe...very crowded as usual on the weekends...had to wait for our seats...i mean there were 9 of us...met a fren who was workin ther...manage to help us get seats...POWER lah....tat's wat frens r for....hahaha....happily we ordered our coffees....although very full....but i still insisted on ordering 2 cakes...Ultimate Choc Brownie with ice cream and Berry Choc Cheesecake....Jaina ordered a Mango Banana Crumbie....trust me peeps! u wont regret havin these desserts....its yumalicious!!!! even my grandma loved 'em....and yup....she took their namecard too!!! hahaha! wat a great nite wif great FOOD....Happy Bday Mummy!!! Love you lots lots!!!

A New Life....

one and 1/2 years back...he lapsed into a coma...after a freak incident when he fell into a fishing pond. I was almost in tears when i broke the news to princess. spent alot of time looking for someone to treat him, but they all came back wif the same reply "sorry...can't do anything"...i was very heartbroken...told princess i wanted to give up...but she insisted to hold on...no matter wad happens...few days back....he woke up....the surprising thing is he is all well...fit as before....told myself thank god princess insisted....promise myself to take better care of him from now on....pamper him wif all the good things in life....going bring him along...to every place i visit...want him to share wif me the beauty of this world...i was playing wif him the whole nite...flooded wif all the memories he left behind....jus couldn help laughing....

boy...i missed him so much....my canon ixus 7.1 megapixel....my valentine's day gift to princess 2 years back...he survived!! OMG! i m so damn happy....princess was also overwhelmed wif joy...cos now i dun have to fight wif her over her canon ixus 10 megapixel...the replacement i got for her...hahaha....

headin down to sim lim on friday to get them both accessories...have to pamper them once in a while...believe me...its all worth it....cos the memories they leave behind will last u a lifetime!!

Weekend News

miss me?? haha...me super busy last week...no time 2 blog...but i m back again!
so many things 2 update...hmmmm....wad 2 update first?...let's begin wif some happy events...
yippie! princess got our air tickets...flying over to Jakarta in May to attend boy's wedding...

went to T3 on friday wif princess, daddy and mummy...some silly incident happended when we were at the car park looking for a lot...went in rounds before we spotted this carpark lot...concidentally, another car oso spotted the same lot...only difference is they were in the wrong flow of traffic!!! so both cars chiong for the same lot...but given my daddy's slow response...the other car got ther first! but who cares...they in the wrong direction...so i got off the car and asked them to buzz off...the driver of the car...a BITCH in her 40's i guess...wif her 2 uneducated kids...really feel like slappin the hell outta 'em....so anyway...despite her snobbish attitude...thinkin she so high class...i still insisted she f@#k off....and she did!!! haha....still very unhappy wif her bitchy attitude...but hack....i got the lot! T3 is not all tat fantastic as proclaimed by many....brought my camera but didn't bother to take a single pic...our main purpose for going ther...to "pick up" our jewellery from Goldheart....so happy cos princess got me a super super nice ring as my VDay gift...very late but who cares...i still get my gift wat :p thanx princess!! Luv Luv!

Sat super tiring! went to Beauty World to get our wedding stuff....u knoe....dragon phoenix candles, sewing box, pyjamas & bedroom slippers, etc etc etc....thn we headed to Far East to get more wedding stuff...while waitin for mummy...i couldn resist...bought meself another 2 earrings...POWER sia...so excited...changed it on the spot!! Small kid rite?? thn we proceeded to Hyatt to view the ballroom...to see the wedding settings....not very impressive cos its all ivory colour...*hint hint*....can u guess the colour of my wedding setting? hahaha...

now for the not so happy news....wilson's dad passed away on Sat...condolences brother!! Be strong...ur family needs u now!! You have all our support...no matter wad happens...u still have ur brothers wif u!!! Take care!!!

enuf of updates...have to get back to work....still busy wif organising the company trip...have a great week ahead peeps...bye bye!!!

It's all in the past....

jus finished lunch wif Dage...he cut his hair short again...but still as handsome as before...hahaha. had my mee siam at the usual store in IP...very nice leh...especially on rainy weather...but poor Dage...got caught in the rain on his way to meet me....all drenched...PSPS....so he asked me how's my wedding prep...told him all in order...bit pressed for time but still manageable....thn he popped me the question "so u really not inviting him ah?" "things really so bad btw the two of u?" strange thing is...this time round when Dage ask me this question...i not emo leh....maybe its becos i know its out of genuine concern or maybe its becos i already give up hope...watever the reason is...i replied "things already turn out like tat...even if i invite oso he won't come...y bother to get myself hurt again"...

we headed to Gloria Jeans for coffee after lunch....continued wif the conversation....Dage super shocked to hear the sufferings i went thru...told me to brace up...no matter wad happens...i must b strong cos there r many other things for me to do in life...many other persons more important thn him in my life for me to take care of....many other frens around me who care bout me more thn him...on hearing tat....i was really beri touched....kinda remind me of those days where all seven of us in NS...helped each other in our difficult times...very heart warming....but now there's only so few of us left...

i will listen to Dage...i know tat even without him...i still have alot of ppl around who will shower me with abundent care and concern...no worries...i will be strong!!! Kambatek nei!!!! :p

another event over the weekends...was at Pan Pac Hotel...attended JieJie's wedding...kaoz...tat day oso IT fair at Suntec...super jam wif vehicles and carparks ard tat area all FULL!!!!! princess and me went in rounds lookin for carpark until we finally decided to go straight up to the security at the Lobby and complain...thn we finally got ourselves into the carpark...

Kor Kor late as usual...cos he oso stuck in the jam....Jie was already at the reception awaiting her guests...finally get to see Jie after so long...becos her DiDi me super busy lor...wad to do....OMG! super lots of guests...the whole reception area damn pack...60 tables mah...so anyway...long wait...finally seeing her and Jiefu settle down...so happy for her....see how happy she is...my Jie chio right??? hahaha....too bad ppl....she married liao.....hahaha!!!!


wedding dinners usually super borin...especially when there's a whole bunch of ppl u dun know...so wad did me and princess do?? took our camera out and started to "zi pai" :)

somethin cute on the dinner table....little momentos for us to keep...cute right??

other thn some "cheapo" ppl sitting at our table...dinner was GREAT!!! Hope JieJie enjoyed herself as much as we did....Wishing the newly weds a happy happy life ahead!!! Zao Shen Gui Zi.....Congrats!!!!!

Hey peeps...Hows ur weekends? my weekend super tiring...lack of sleep again...haha...like pig hor :p woke up early on sat cos got plans wif Bengz and Kor...goin prawning...haven prawned for a long long time...so kinda miss those days...anyway...we brought our own rods...look like pro sia...

cuttin up the chicken heart as bait...yummy!!!! looks damn delicious...think the prawns will love it...hahaha...

must give it 2 Bengz...didn't really teach him much...he actually manage to catch the prawns on his own...smart dude...even better thn Kor leh...hahaha. OMG!...princess (now known as prawn queen) super power lah...caught so many prawns...huge ones somemore...we actually prawned for 4 hrs...beat tat...decided to bbq some prawns...since its Bengz 1st attempt...let him taste the freshness of his catch...

Bengz super PR...offered boss cigars and we got red wine in return...compliment really well wif our bbq prawns...

One15 Marina

One15 Marina...ever heard of dis place? know where is it? somewat similar to raffles marina, republic of singapore yatch club...but this is an exclusive club...within sentosa cove....with bout 4,000 members only...admission only for members....very tight security....

me and princess went ther yesterday evening...and no....we r not members of the club...but thru some connections...we manage to get into the club....we were thinkin of takin our wedding photos ther...thought it would b a good idea to check the place out first...get some snap shots for our photographer...cos we r his first couple to take our photos ther...since its so exclusive right!! so anyway...first time at the marina...my first impression:

Berth/Boats

berth looks super new...i mean, of cos since there's only 4,000 members compared to the heavy traffic flow at other marinas...haha...but we couldn take any photos...some club regulation...understandable....the boats look so so to me....and they were all over the place...quite messy actually....have seen more "orderly" marinas before...

Restaurants

from far...we could see this huge glass building...couldn make out wat the hell it was...as u get closer...its this really poshy restaurant...nice....thn of cos...there are like a row of other restaurants alongside....facing the berth....

Swimming Pool
wat impressed me and princess most is the swimming pool...not the size....but there's this section of the pool where you can sit and dine...i mean there are tables and chairs partially submerged in water...damn cool man....

didn't take much photos though....cos everone ther looking....quite pai say...like we come from mainland...its a really nice place....very quiet....face the open sea...wat else can one ask for...but me and princess decided not take our photos ther...mainly becos we were not allowed to take any photos at the berth...wads the point right??? oso One15 Marina is nice on its own but not really suitable for taking wedding photos...too many blockages...if u noe wat i mean...wif pillars everywhere....but if u have the chance...u peeps must check out this place!!!

Marvin boy gettin married!!! woohoo!!! GREAT news man....so happy for him....

actually dis morning...i m super tired....cos only slept at 4am...cannot tahan any more...had to pia thru my hongkong drama serial...too anxious to know the outcome....continued one disc after another...without realising it was so late oredi...had my morning meeting earlier and i was the project leader...but my mind went blank can...so tired how to think??? after the meetin...i was basically in my "screen saver mode" until...i recevived news from boy tat he getting married!! at first i thought it was jus engagement...i mean tat was his intention last year when we met up in Jakarta...but NO NO NO....its the full wedding...with dinner and all....

Nasty me asked him "shotgun ah??"....he actually replied "at first i thought it was...but false alarm"...damn funny lah dis boy...dis kinda things oso can blur blur one....but watever it is....i m so happy for him!!! ConGrAts BoY!!!! me and princess now so excited....goin to apply for leave and book our tickets...flyin ther in May to join ah boy in his celebration!!!

kinda strange....dis year like super alot of frens settling down....apart from me and princess...jie's wedding tomolo...Marvin boy in may...Chin yong plannin his ROM in jun....Bengz's wedding in oct...Desmond's weddin in dec....who is next??? hahaha.....but glad tat everyone is doin well...Kor Kor....u must work harder k....kambatek!!!! see if u can settle down dis year too.....i m sure dasao will say YES if u propose....dun let her wait too long ya...

Hmmm....alot of celebration dis year.....dun noe whether my pocket can tahan not?? :p

Last Breathe....

doctor asked everyone to stay for the night...cos this will probably be the last time she will wake up...say watever you want to say to her...she really woke up...watched her say her last goodbye to everyone....they all cried as she struggled for her very last breathe...my heart sank...tears started to roll...couldn't control as i witnessed this moment...why? why did she have to leave so soon? its jus so unfair...she's like the nicest person...

woke up this morning...my eyes quite swollen...cried too much last nite...kinda embarassing...but wad to do...i m a new age emo person...princess laughed at me last nite when i told her i was crying really badly...not the first time she's hearing this from me...after watching my hongkong drama...especially when there are "dying scenes"....wad to do...actors did a great job...climax sia...haha

okeez...have to get back 2 work now...gotta check on the temp...see how the young chap is doin...

Insomia ZZzzzz.....

very sleepy now...ZZzzzZZ....past 2 nites didnt get good sleep...keep waking up in the middle of the nite...can't get back to bed thereafter...not sure why oso...didn't take any coffee...maybe becos there's 2 many things flooding my mind...my mum too havin the same problem on sunday...so i sat wif her and chat till 4am before we went to bed...next day wake up like zombie...

last nite...mummy went to bed early...guess she's too tired...unfortunately i can't do the same...went to bed bout 11 plus...woke up at 12 plus...ran to the toilet a few times...had a burning sensation in my tummy...decided to on the TV...but no good prog...so i watched DVD instead...finished another 3 episodes of my HK drama serial...before i finally went to bed at 4am..AGAIN!!!! if this goes on....think i will become panda in no time...

got into office this mornin...introduced to a new temp staff...completely forgot tat he's suppose to be here to assist me for a week...jus briefed him on some operational matter...got IT to set up his comp, user ID and password...got him started with work...brought him out for lunch...very quiet chap...decent...jus completed his NS waiting for admission into NUS doin Econs...dun smoke....damn! no kaki AGAIN!
